As many of you guys know, the Houston Astros and the Atlanta Braves are battling for the World Series championship game (Braves lead 3-2) but
just last night, the Astros crushed the Braves 9-5. If the Astros can win these next two games, this might be remembered as one of the greatest comebacks in the MLB, but also one of the most heated ones because of that time when the Astros cheated.
The Astros cheated when they would beat a trash can. The number of beats meant the type of pitch. Example: Pound! Pound!=Curveball. Then, the Astros made little devices that the players stuck on their chests. When the trash can would be pounded, the device would vibrate the number of hits on the trash can. Ever since then, they’ve been known as the Trash Can Beaters.
Personally, I’m cheering for the Braves because the Trash Can Beaters bet my Red Sox.
Overall, I think that maybe the Braves are gonna be a little stunned because of that game, but I also think maybe Houston might keep playing like they did last night.
